On March 2, CellUranics (Hangzhou) Biomanufacturing Co., Ltd. ("CellUranics") and Wood China Engineering Co., Ltd. ("Wood China") jointly held the Project Kick-off Meeting for the "Bio-Based Platform Compounds: Glucaric Acid and 2,5-Furandicarboxylic Acid Project" in Xuhui, Shanghai.
Taking this opportunity, the two parties formally entered into a "dual exclusivity" strategic partnership, joining forces to synergistically accelerate the industrialization of CellUranics' bio-based materials. Deeply aligned with CellUranics' "large-scale chemical industry mindset," the project, upon completion, will become the world's first 10,000-ton flagship FDCA plant using glucose as feedstock. It will serve as a benchmark for the industrialization of bio-based materials in China, leading the industry's green and low-carbon transformation, and further solidifying CellUranics' global leadership in the bio-based materials sector.
